Digital Account Manager

The Role


Working closely with Marketing, Sales and Business Development you’ll be developing and fostering client relationships, work on innovative digital and direct marketing campaigns and cover everything from direct response, data, build, lead acquisition and analysis across a variety of channels.

Your clients requirements will be at the heart of everything you do and you’ll really get under the skin of the brand,

understand their requirements and deliver effective results. You’ll help them drive their business forward creatively through digital marketing, direct, traditional direct marketing and understand their key audiences language and

behaviours. You will be involved in ensuring clients receive a return on digital.


The Person


Experience of project planning and estimation with experience in developing project plans and cost estimates.

Previous experience in managing end-to-end delivery of various written and content projects. Including the management of risks/issues/assumptions and ultimately ensuring that all projects are kept within budget and agreed timelines. Strong team management skills ensuring that the team are clear about their tasks, priorities and the deadlines

associated with their work.

First-hand experience of web project management

Good knowledge of the digital industry

Previous experience of working with a CMS

Enjoy working in a small dynamic team

Experience of managing projects and planning complex programmes of work

A real self-starter and high achiever delivering positive and quantifiable results.

A proven ability to manage concurrent programmes of work with conflicting deadlines, delivering then efficiently, calmly and to a high standard

Excellent written and oral communication skills

You will be comfortable with preparing budgets and tracking expenditure

Able to think methodically and present to a client an organised, systematic and efficient way of working

A graduate with a real passion for project management looking to develop a solid career within this field

A skill of up selling

Able to write technical briefs and specification proposals

Are you an excellent SEO/PPC Executive?

We are looking for a SEO/PPC executive to join or project and business development team. Reporting to the Managing Director, Digital Accounts Manager and Business Development Manager you will play a key role in the maximisation of sales and traffic to both clients and MGC.

We are exclusively looking for a well-rounded SEO individual, able to analyse client websites, finding pros and cons and boosting their ranked position on Google as well as increasing web traffic. 

Your role as a SEO Executive will be to deliver sustainable organic and PPC growth for all of our marketing clients through collaborative working with your Accounts Manager, creative and development teams.


 The Candidate

2-3 years of experience working in digital marketing or a related field.

A strong understanding of SEO, PPC and Google Analytics is essential.

Google Analytics and Google Adwords certificates.

Proficient reporting skills, using tools like Google Analytics to report on both SEO and overall campaign performance.

Good written English skills as you’ll be responsible for creating landing page content, blog articles and producing low fidelity creative sketches to brief design teams.

Hands on PPC experience. Ability to work and assist across other areas of the department, including PPC, social media, analytics, PR and content marketing.

Reporting into a highly experienced Managing Director and Project Manager to help deliver the online marketing activity across all channels; affiliates, SEO, PPC, email, SMS, CRM, display and mobile marketing. As well as this you will

Support briefing and creative development of email marketing campaigns


Day to day


Create technical SEO audits for various client websites and report your findings to both the client and the internal teams.

Conduct regular technical SEO reports, analysing issues such as meta tag issues, duplicate content issues, crawl errors, crawl budget, speed optimisation etc.

Conduct keyword research for  marketing clients.

Create optimised meta tags and conduct backlink audits for all client websites.

Work with designers and developers throughout the build of a new website to ensure that all new web projects are optimised from a technical and content perspective.

Oversee implementation of Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics on client websites.

Conceive and drive forward creative marketing ideas for  clients.

Experience Required

SEO: 2 years
PPC: 2 years
